David is a minister of the Gospel and he lives with his family in the suburbs of Chicago.

David’s seminary training included a MA and ThM from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and PhD in Theology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. David has been a “Youth Pastor,” “Associate Pastor,” and “English Ministry Pastor” and adjunct faculty in biblical studies at several institutions.

David’s pastoral mission statement is, “to shepherd and equip the saints for the work of the gospel ministry through expository preaching and teaching, for building up the body of Christ in love for the glory of God and the joy of all people.” His amazing wife Kara is his partner in life and ministry. Together they are prayerfully seeking to follow Jesus and help others to do the same.

David's theology is "confessional" - that means that the faith he confesses is aligned with historical views held by Christians throughout the ages. He is not seeking to be innovative but faithful. These evangelical confessions include: the Apostle's Creed, the Cambridge Declaration, the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, and the Danver's Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. These confessions do not have the same authority of Scripture but are helpful tools for communicating important truths.
